The Ask
Hungryroot is a personalized grocery delivery subscription service. The company was founded in 2015 with the aim of helping individuals and families eat healthier by delivering both fresh and prepackaged food that is nutritious, along with recipes that make it easy to plate up restaurant-quality meals in a matter of minutes.
I worked with their culinary and photo teams to execute marketing assets along with recipe and SKU images within their brand guidelines. The Hungryroot brand guidelines became more complex as their offerings grew, as recipe images had to reflect not only their product guidelines, but the guidelines of the hundreds of brand they offered.
The Solution
The team initially contacted us to reshoot their SKU’s, replacing staged plated shots with more natural shots to portray how delicious and fresh their offering is.
I worked with their team to assist with seasonal marketing needs for web, email and social media. Moving forward, I produced and shot a variety of their top-performing recipes on a monthly basis.
